Directions
We can be easily reached from a number of underground and main line stations, the closest of which are St Paul’s, City Thameslink, Farringdon and Blackfriars*.
Our offices are also a 10 minute walk from Mansion House tube station, a 10-15 minute walk from Temple tube station and a 15 minute walk from Southwark tube station.
From Blackfriars station, enter the subway just outside the station, go to exit 8 and leave via the right hand steps which will lead you to New Bridge Street. At the top of the steps walk straight ahead, you will pass the Crowne Plaza Hotel on your left. Continue walking another 100 Metres until you reach the corner of Bride Lane. Fleet House is on this corner. As additional landmarks, Prêt a Manger is directly across the road opposite our office. There is also a telephone kiosk and a large tree outside our offices.
* Blackfriars Underground station will be closed from March 2009 for approximately two years. However, Blackfriars mainline overground station will remain open during this time
From St Paul’s station, there are two exits. Take the exit to the right. Once you are at street level, turn left in to Newgate Street and continue until you reach Old Bailey. Turn left in to Old Bailey. At the end of the road (the All Bar One pub will be on your left), cross over the road and turn right on to Ludgate Hill. Walk down Ludgate Hill until you reach traffic lights at Ludgate Circus. You will then be at the junction of Farringdon Road and New Bridge Street. Cross the road at the traffic lights, then turn immediately left. You will now be on New Bridge Street and will pass The Albion pub on your right. Bride Lane is a few metres past the pub. Fleet House is on the corner of Bride Lane and New Bridge Street. As additional landmarks, Prêt a Manger is directly across the road opposite our office. There is also small telephone kiosk and a large tree just outside our office.
From Farringdon station, turn right as you leave the station in to Cowcross Street. At the end of Cowcross Street, turn left on to Farringdon Road passing a KFC restaurant on the corner. Continue along Farringdon Street for 5-7 minutes until you reach Ludgate Circus at the junction with Ludgate Hill, Fleet Street and New Bridge Street. Cross the road at the traffic lights and make your way towards The Albion pub. Keeping the the pub on your right, walk along New Bridge Street. Bride Lane is a few metres past the pub. Fleet House is on the corner of Bride Lane and New Bridge Street. As additional landmarks Prêt a Manger is directly across the road opposite our office. There is also small telephone kiosk and a large tree visible on the pavement just outside our office.
Other routes:
If you are travelling by bus from the South side of the river, the 45 bus travels over Blackfriars Bridge (via Camberwell & Elephant and Castle) and stops just before Fleet House. The 63 bus also comes over Blackfriars Bridge (via Southwark) and stops just before Fleet House.
If are using the main line train services, and do not wish to travel by tube, there are a number of different routes that you could take from the stations:
From Kings Cross, the 45 bus stops just past Fleet House on the opposite side of the road. You can also take the 63 bus, which passes through Farringdon Rd and stops just past Fleet House on the opposite side of the road. You could also take this bus if you are travelling via Farringdon Station.
From Liverpool Street, you can catch the 11 or 23 bus from outside the station to Ludgate Circus which is approximately 1 minute walk from Fleet House.
From London Bridge, exit at the bus forecourt where you can catch the 17 bus to Ludgate Circus.
From Cannon Street, you can either walk to Fleet House (approx 15min) or catch the 17 or 15 bus directly outside the station which stop at Ludgate Circus.
From Charing Cross, take the 15, 11 or 23 bus from The Strand across the road from the main entrance to the station, where you can alight at Ludgate Circus.
